Description
This professional 2″ brush is ideal for those who want efficiency and a great result in their painting work. The brush is made of high-quality material, which ensures that it doesn’t shed hair during use – unlike lower quality brushes. This avoids annoying brush hairs and uneven surfaces. The extra wide brush makes it easy and quick to paint larger areas with a smooth, even and flawless finish. The brush is comfortable and stable in the hand, giving you maximum control and precision. Suitable for woodwork, metal surfaces and other materials. A durable brush you can count on – even with repeated and demanding use.
The easiest way to clean a brush after use with glue:
-
Remove excess glue
- Use a cloth or paper to wipe as much glue as possible off the brush immediately before the glue hardens.
-
Dissolve the glue in warm water or solvent
- Water-based glue: Rinse the brush thoroughly under warm water with a little washing-up liquid and gently rub the hairs with your fingers to loosen the glue residue.
- Solvent-based adhesives (e.g. contact adhesive): Use a suitable solvent, such as acetone or cellulose thinner, and allow the brush to dwell briefly in the solvent while gently working the hairs to loosen the adhesive. Always use the solvent in a well-ventilated room.
-
Wash the brush thoroughly
- After the glue has dissolved, wash the brush thoroughly with warm water and mild soap or detergent to remove any solvent residue.
-
Dry and shape the brush
- Pat the brush dry with a cloth and shape the bristles with your fingers while it is still damp. Let the brush air dry lying flat or hanging with the bristles down.
If the glue has already hardened, it can be difficult to reuse the brush. Therefore, it is important to clean it immediately after use for best results and to extend the life of the brush.
